Salt Lake Homes For Sale That Allow Horses

We get quite a few calls about Salt Lake Homes For Sale that allow horses. That is a zoning issue, and very few cities along the Wasatch front allow any new construcrion that is zoned for large animals. Having a house and horses requires lots of space. In other words a large lot. At least a half acre lot.

Most new subdivisions are being approved for smaller lots so if you are looking for a new house, or want to build a new home that will allow you to stable your own horses, your selection will be limited.

A few years ago, when Salt Lake had many more rural areas there were a lot of subdivisions developed with larger lots that were approved for horses and livestock.

So there are obvious areas to look. Your job of finding listings of horse properties in the Salt Lake Valley will be pretty easy if you will look for previously built home in parts of Sandy, South Jordan, Draper, Herriman, Riverton, Bluffdale, and some areas in West Jordan.

If you are really venturesome and want to save money on newer homes that allow horses, go to Chris's blog and check out the Horse Properties in Tooele County @ Ponderosa Estates.
