Rent Or Buy A Home In Salt Lake City?
Since we don't handle any rentals, I rarely find myself asking "should I rent or buy a home in Salt Lake City".
When I got the mail piece from one of our favorite lenders, Doug Walker, Mortgage Consultant over @ Republic Mortgage, I just put it in my my stack of Real Estate lending stuff to read later.
An hour or two later I got a call from a renter from West Jordan that wanted to know if she could buy a Salt Lake home that would cost no more per month than the payments she was making on her West Jordan Condominium.
I told her that I could give her some preliminary information, but she really needed to talk to someone that did this kind of thing a lot and was familiar with the tax advantages of home ownership.
I gave her Doug's contact information, and pulled out the mailer so I could share it with you folks.
