- Salt Lake Home sales in May were up 221 units. That includes homes, condos, and town homes in Salt Lake County.
- In May Utah REALTORS sold 1,235 properties compared to May of 09 where 1,014 Salt Lake homes were sold.
- This year home sales are up almost 25% over the first 5 months of 2009.
- Homes and condos priced below $150,000 were the biggest sellers over the last 12 months.
- There were over 46,000 sales, of homes from $increase.150 to $200,000 in the first 5 months of this year
- There are 158 Homes and Condominiums listed @ between $750,000 and $1 million dollars. They have averaged almost 200 days on market.
- The average square foot of listings sold in Salt Lake in May was 2,350 Sqft. down from 2,572 last year.
- Price per Sqft averaged $103.78 in May 2010, up about $0.50 from last year..
- Homes sold in May had been on the market about 110 days.
- The average home sold in May was a 4 bedroom 2 bath, rather than the typical 4 bedroom 3 bath home that we expect to see.
