Tax Credit Deadline Nears-Buy That SLC Home Now!
As the Tax Credit deadline nears, you had better buy that SLC Home now, or run the risk of giving up one of the best incentives of all to buy a new home in Utah.
Money!!!
Sure, you can take a chance that the Tax Credit may be renewed, and wait a while longer.
But if the deadline is NOT extended, many Salt Lake City Home buyers will not be able to claim that $8,000 credit when buying their first home or Condominium. (Home buyers that have owned a house or condo previously will forfeit $6,500 in tax credits).
Why take that chance, when most experts say "now is the best time in many many years to buy that new home".
It's not too late.
However, to qualify, you must have that house or condo under contract by April 30th, about 40 days from now.
If you haven't started looking for your new home in Salt Lake, you had better get cracking, because over the next 40 days you will need to, Search the INTERNET to find some homes to look at, select a lender & obtain approval for financing, choose a Realtor to help you select the right home to buy, get an offer accepted, and perform all of your due diligence.
By April 30th.
If you have a house to sell you have a lot more to do than that.
Keep in mind, not only do you need to have your new home or condominium under contract by the end of April, but you must be prepared to close by June 30th.
That's a lot to do in a rather short time, but it sure could be worth it.
