Salt Lake "Parade of Homes" Starts Today-8/07/09
The Salt Lake Parade of Homes starts today and as one would imagine it's about affordability.
In past years the Salt Lake Parade in North Central Utah really showcased larger more luxurious homes and gave Custom Home Builders a platform to "strut their stuff".
This year over half of the homes will be priced at under $350,000. With a lot of homes in the $200 to $350,000 price range their should be a lot of interest from the typical Utah prospective home buyer.
A new category this year will be Homes For Sale. These are homes that can be purchased for occupancy immediately after the home-show. I've been told that one of these homes is a production model home priced at just under $161,000. There are a lot of Salt Lake Homes Buyers in that price range.
With that in mind, it's more important than ever this year to let the New Home Builders Agent know that you have an agent that will be representing you in any transaction. The agent on site in the model works for the builder; represents the builder, and by law has the best interest of the builder in any transaction.

These are newly constructed, never before seen homes. Priced from $207,000 to over $1 million dollars for a luxury home built for the show in the Union Park area of Salt Lake.
Builders Models:
These are New Homes that model what builders sell in their various, subdivisions, planned unit developments or master planned communities. This category features single family homes, condominiums, mid-rises and niche market homes like those that would appeal to empty nesters or over 55 communities.
Spec Homes:
From $161,000 to $1.3 million are homes for sale right here, right now, for the right price. Look for some spectacular deals and give these new home builders a hand as they have stepped out in these tough times to bring the Salt Lake Home Buyer a great new home experience.
