Salt Lake New Homes Sales Part Of Any Real Recovery!

Salt Lake New Homes Sales will be a very large part of any real recovery.

I think we all know and believe that.

Even those of us that make our living primarily selling previously owned Salt Lake Houses and Condominiums.

The reason is simple.

Building New Homes creates jobs, pays fees, contributes taxes, pays for services and in general helps to foster feelings of optimism.

As Curt Dowdle, Executive Officer of the Salt Lake Home Builders Association pointed out in his article in the Salt Lake Tribune last Saturday, "The Governor's office, in conjunction with the Utah Legislature, and the Salt Lake Chamber of Commerce, devised arguably the best and most immediate economic stimulus package for jobs and job growth in the state's history".

Curt was talking about the "Home Run" $6,000 new home buyer grants.

There were 1600 grants available. That means that grants are available in Utah for the purpose of buying a new home. That's 1600 New Homes or Condominiums.

Mr Dowdle puts a pencil to that number in his article, and what we have are some very exciting numbers.

Curt says, "1600 New Homes will be purchased as a direct result of the program that will result in a total of $324 million in total earnings from new construction "

In addition, first time home buyers may qualify for an additional $8,000 federal  tax incentive package.

Many new home builders in Salt Lake are building Town-homes,Condominiums and smaller homes to help home buyers take advantage of these incentives.

Every one is doing their part.

The way for you to do yours is to contact your Realtor, and schedule a tour of new model homes that fit your price requirements and  are located  in an area you would be comfortable living. .

If you don't have an agent call us 801-567-0946. Or go to our website and see why you need an agent to look out for your interest when buying a new home.

Remember, Salt Lake New Homes Sales are part of any real recovery.
