Updates On Utahs New Home Purchase Incentive !
There are some updates on the Utah New Home Purchase Incentive that the State is offering Buyers of New Homes in Utah. It's not just New Homes for Sale In Salt Lake, but any buyer of a New Home anywhere in the Beehive State may be eligible for the $6,000 dollar grant.
Our friend and a trusted loan officer and associate, Candy Olson of Silver Ridge Mortgage gave us a "heads up" yesterday and we thought it was worth passing on.
It's part of putting together a qualified Real Estate Team, or maybe we should call them a "Team" of home buying experts. Things change so rapidly in the Real Estate business and so much new information is available on a daily basis about buying a new home in Salt Lake City, that you need more than just one person to count on.
We recommend at the very least, a Realtor, with a great website to help in your home search, a Lender with years of experience, and a track record of honesty and integrity, (like Candy) and a Title Company, that is established, well staffed and convenient.
Candy's e-mail updated us on a couple of important things having to do with the New Home Incentive.
1. The buyer/seller certification form that must be submitted to Utah Housing will change as of 5/01/09. All submissions after that date will be on the new form.
2. Remember that the form approval is good for only 30 days. You must close your New Home w/in that time or resubmit a new form. ( another reason for a good team)
3. So far there are a little over 1100 of the 1600 New Home Grants still remaining.
