Short sales are all of these things and more. Most of all they are plentiful, and experts keep telling us that it is likely that the number of homes listed in Salt Lake City as "short sales" will continue to increase.

None of the experts however give any indication that the ease of doing them, in spite of the growing numbers will increase as well.

Having said all this... again..... for the one hundredth time..... to any one that would listen. I have come to the conclusion that I am not expressing the character of the short sale well enough.

Why???  Because no matter how many times I tell a client that we are in for a tough slog, they seem to forget what I have said 2 days after we make an offer on a Salt Lake home for sale.
