Salt Lake New Homes For Sale That Might Qualify !

I think it would be helpful to point out some Salt Lake New Homes For Sale that might qualify for both the federal $8000 tax credit for first time home buyers and the $6000 New Home Incentive. (Home Run) offered by the state to help stimulate the sale of New Homes in Utah.

Bottom line is, If you are a first time home buyer, and buy a New Home In Utah (or a Condominium) you could be eligible for $14,000 in government incentives.

Ad any individual sweeteners (and there are tons) offered by New Homes Builders and it really does pay to look at new homes and condominiums for sale in the Salt Lake City market.

In today's economy, with interest rates at historic lows it's hard to know what limits to place on a list of Salt Lake Homes for Sale for first time buyers.

I'm going to max out at  about $250,000 dollars. With the cost of financing a home or condo under $6.00 per thousand, that would translate to a payment on P & I of about $1500 per month.

That's usually plenty to spend on your first home.

Here are some of the Communities and Builders that offer an opportunity to pick up an extra $14000 dollars on your Salt Lake Home purchase.

Ivory Homes:

Utah's number one home builder, with 33 communities in the state offers a wide range of options. Ivory Homes is matching the $ 8000 Federal tax gift so they are advertising a total savings of $22,000. Ad to that, an interest rate, bought down, fixed for 30 years @ under 6%, and you have a reason to go shopping at one of these fine new home communities.

     Yalecrest Towns            West Point from the $180s.
     Benson Mill Crossing      Stansbury Park from the $140s.
     Ivory Highlands              Taylorsville from the $230s.
     Highbury @ Lake Park   West Valley from the $180s.
     Princeton Park Towns    West Jordan from the $180s.

Garbett Homes:

Billed as Utah's #1 Townhome builder, Garbett Homes claims over 200 homes well under the $200,000 range, with flexible in house financing available. 
Include an additional $3000 dollars from the builder and there are $17000 reasons to visit one of the models @

     Farmington Crossing: Luxury Town homes from $154,500 to $204,900. Farmington.
     Arbor Square @ Highbury: Town homes from $179,000 to $210,900. West Valley City.
     The District in South Jordan: Town homes & Condos from $139,900 to $224,900.
     The Bay Collection in Daybreak: Town homes from $160,900 to $187,900. S Jordan UT.
     The Terrace Homes in Daybreak: Luxury Condos from $159,900 to $179,900. South Jordan.

This is by no means a complete list of homes or builders that you can investigate. It simply lets you know that if you are looking for a home in salt lake, are a first time home buyer  and would like to take advantage of programs designed to get the housing market back on track, you have options.
