While other areas around Salt Lake may be suffering with a glut of expensive homes that will soon be owned by Banks and financial institutions, we didn't find that to be the case when we analyzed the Condos and Homes for sale in Murray UT.
What we found, and what the report will show you is that Murray UT has a very manageable housing inventory in the pre- foreclosure faze. Most of the homes for sale listed as distressed property, IE: Bank Owned Homes, HUD Homes, Foreclosures, and Short Sales will easily be absorbed through the normal sale of Murray houses/Condos by local Realtors.

Total Homes for sale in Murray, UT:
There are 261 homes or condos listed on the MLS in Murray Utah. Ninety are Condominiums, 171 are single family residents.
The 35% of listed homes in Murray being condos is near the top percentage of any city in Salt Lake.
Bank Owned Homes, REOs, HUD Homes, Foreclosures, and Short Sales:
Twelve of the Murray listings are distressed property.(less than 5% of Murray listings).
5 of those are Condominiums in Murray.
41% of the Pre-Foreclosures are Condos.
Only 3 of these homes are less than 3 years old.
Prices of the properties are listed between $117, and $800,000 dollars.
The median price of these Murray Homes is $181,000 dollars.
Of the 12 Murray listings, 5 are under contract.
So far this year, 16 homes that were either Pre-Foreclosures, Short Sales or Bank Owned Homes were sold.
You can see why we think that Real Estate in Murray UT, is healthy and will not be hurt by the failure of Banks to unload their short sale inventory. Foreclosures and Bank Owned Homes are a reality, but less important in Murray UT, Homes for sale.
