The new "homes for sale" stats in Riverton Ut. for the 7 days ending 2/05/08 have been compiled, and there is a slight improvement since the last report. Primarily the improvements are in the area of the new home listings. Riverton Homes coming on the market are priced more in line with the houses that have been put under contract.
This Information has been compiled from numbers made available to us by the Wasatch Front Regional Multiple Listing Service (MLS).
Riverton Utah Home Sales Information: 1/30/08 thru 2/05/08
Current Homes listed in Riverton: There are 285 homes and condominiums listed on the MLS in Riverton. Almost 13% of those (37) are involved with a bank or third party in a short sale, foreclosure, repo, or other loss mitigation scenario.
Homes Closed: Last week,5 homes closed with an average price of about $257 thousand dollars. None of the houses were sold as a distressed property.
New Contracts: Eight houses, actually 7 houses and 1 Condominium were placed under contract during the period. Average price was a little over $383 thousand on the homes. The Condo sold at $325,000.
New Home Listings: Twenty seven single family dwellings were listed on the MLS by Salt Lake Real Estate Agents . The average price of the 23 homes was about $416,500 dollars. The 4 Condominiums averaged $219,000 dollars. The good news is that only 2 of these units would be listed as a short sale or bank owned. Twenty one homes or condos that had been on the market, did not sell for whatever reason and were withdrawn.
