Each week we post for you the sales report and information about Home Sales in West Jordan so that you will have the most timely Real Estate Information in the Salt Lake Valley. While the statistics are provided by the Wasatch Front Regional multiple Listing Service (MLS) any comments are supplied by me or my company. Keep in mind that for sale by owner homes (FSBOs) are not listed here, and most New Homes, (new construction) will not appear unless they become a "Bank Owned" or "Short Sale" property.
West Jordan Home Sales Report:
Total West Jordan homes on Market As of Monday, 2/04/08 six hundred eighty three single family housing units were available on the MLS. There were 602 houses, and 81 condominiums.
Homes Sold (closed) Only 14 homes closed during week 6. None were Condominiums, and only 2 of the transactions involved a bank owned or third party approval. The average price was almost $265 thousand dollars and ranged from $165 to $370,000 dollars.
Homes under Contract There were 25 new contracts written, 20 houses and 5 condominiums. Prices ranged from $168 to $419,000 dollars. None of the Contracts involved third party or foreclosed houses.
New Listings During the week, there were 45 homes and 10 condos listed. Six of the listings, or a little over 10% were short sales. The homes listed averaged in the high 200s while the condominium average price was $164 thousand. During this same period, 43 home listings expired.
