Best New Home Sales Offer In Salt Lake Valley ?
I think the best New Home sales offer last week in the Salt Lake Valley belonged to Richmond American Homes. It was the best because it didn't just address the standing inventory of New Homes, but tried to keep their crews working by SELLING New Homes to be built.
Most builders are offering discounts, upgrades, and interest rate incentives to move specs that are already built. That helps the builder, but does little to aid others in the Industry. After all, it's not the fact that we are not selling houses that's the real problem, it's the fact were not building them. No construction pay checks, no materials ordered, no impact fees, no insurance premiums, and all the other costs that make up "building a New Home" so important to our economy.
Richmond American is promoting specs like everyone else. They need to. They are celebrating their 35 yrs in business with some very attractive price concessions at each of every one of their 38 neighborhoods along the Wasatch Front.
What I was impressed with though is the offer of "BASEMENT FINISHED FREE 100% with each new construction build job". To me that seems like a commitment to keep crews on the job, Title Companies looking up and insuring stuff, drivers delivering, landscapers landscaping, and on and on. You get the picture.
