As we mentioned last week builders are being forced to release the stranglehold they have had on lot inventory in the Salt Lake Valley over the last few years. You no longer need to use a certain builder if you want to build a home in a specific neighborhood. Just offer to buy a lot. In many cases the builder will jump at the chance.
Take a look at some areas in South Jordan and West Jordan w/ lots and prices that became available this week. We will keep you updated.
South Jordan: Jordan Heights, one fifth to one third acre lots from $149,000.00
Jordan Hills, @ The Sycamores, a variety of view product from $175,000.00
Clark and associates is selling lots with an asking price of $225,000.00 in South Jordan.
Peterson Development has 1/4 and 1/3 acre lots in South Jordan and West Jordan for $160,000.00
A word of caution, and I know you may have waited a long time. Don't offer the asking price and don't go alone. An experienced Real Estate Agent will more than earn their money on this deal.(the seller pays anyway) Whether it's price or terms or subordination have someone looking out for your interest.
