The Ideal Trick or Treat for Salt Lake
I don't know if you will see that my Halloween Idea is a GREAT idea.
Maybe I think it's so great because I have so many years of pent up "tricks" that have gone unrequited. My folks would never let me "trick', no matter how meager the "Treat". So what if I am just making up for lost opportunity. Anyway this is a one trick two treat deal, so you can't hate me forever.
TREAT # 1 Everyone go to the store and buy 10 of those Dannon yogurt cups.
TRICK... Give to the first 10 little goblins that come to your door on Halloween night.
TREAT #2 Dannon, a national yogurt manufacturer with a plant here in West Jordan will realize how appreciative we are for their very generous $ 30,000.00 donation to the Utah Food Bank Services this October. The grant will fund the adoption of 3 new schools where most of the children receive free lunches.
This was a very important gift to our community and our children.
According to the U.S. Census Bureau one in eight Utah children live in poverty. This is the perfect time and an appropriate way to say 'thanks' to Dannon for helping us be involved.
The bottom line is, the goblins wont appreciate you, but Dannon and the Food Bank kids will.
