Home Owner Assistance Programs for West Jordan
Cities can do some neat things for its citizens. Often its responding to the times that's so special, more than what is actually done.
These are times when because of all the flap about mortgage rates, and tightening credit, many of our low and medium income citizen are worried that they have missed the boat and will not be able to buy their own home.
The City of West Jordan is once again able to help some of the folks with a variety of programs.
Purchase Program Overview:
W.Jordan City provides 50% of the required down payment.
W. Jordan City pays reasonable closing costs up to $5000
Home buyer stays in home 5 years.
Loan is forgiven @ a rate of 20% per year.
Housing Rehabilitation Program:
W. Jordan City offers home repair loans @ 5% for 20 yr.
Loans to seniors can be deferred until future sale.
Repairs include foundation work, plumbing, wiring, and roof repair.
