All Real Estate is Local !!

West Jordan, South Jordan, Riverton, Herriman, are local , at least to someone.  Salt Lake County isn't.  Thats what my e-mails from you folks told me.

I guess it's true, just like politics, and a good pain killer, all Real Estate is "Local".

Our post about absorption rates in Salt Lake County caused a lot of you to let me know that you didn't care a whit (whatever that is) how many months of unsold Homes & Condominiums were for sale in the Salt Lake area, you wanted to know what the home buying|selling climate is in your community.

So here you are, information about how many homes/condos are listed for sale currently in West Jordan, South Jordan, Riverton, & Herriman, with the number of houses sold in the last 30 days, which gives us the absorption rate.  These stats are from around the 15th of Sept. and supplied to us from the Wasatch Front MLS, and we think they are pretty reliable.  (My math however could be a problem).

WEST JORDAN:

Listings:     786          Sales last Month     221          Absorption:     3.5 mo.

SOUTH JORDAN:

Listings:     561          Sales last Month      73          Absorption:      7.6 mo.

RIVERTON:

Listings:     332          Sales last Month     60          Absorption          5.5 mo.

HERRIMAN:

Listings:     419          Sales last Month     50          Absorption          8.3 mo.

Keep in mind that these stats just give us a "snapshot" view of our market, and they don't take into consideration that other factors,  lower price,  homes in better condition,  location, and neighborhood will  influence how fast your individual home will move.

If your interested in seeing how I would beat these numbers for you, go to marketing plan, and take a look.

If I can be of further help, give me a call.  801-567-0946
