South Jordan growing faster than Herriman ?
Forbes Magazine recently ranked South Jordan as the 48th fastest growing suburb in the U.S. The census bureau places So. Jordan as the fastest growing city in Utah, with over 50,000 residents, currently ranking number 13th in total population. Why not? If you've driven through the DAYBREAK community you could easily believe that if it were a city and not a New Home development it would be number 14.
But, as the old philosopher "Satchel Paige" used to say, "Don't look back, someone may be gaining on you".
In this case, that someone is Herriman, and the 4000 acres adjoining the ROSECREST development that has been "disconnected" from Bluffdale and will soon be annexed. This will certainly provide more new home and condominium development opportunities for the Sorenson Group and the other landowners that made the switch.
Any way you look at it, a lot of houses will be built and sold, a lot of taxes will be paid, and a lot of services provided by both Herriman and South Jordan. To support all those homes of coarse, adaquate shopping centers, retail, offices, medical facilities and schools will be built. All the fuel for the engine of opportunity.
It's already begun, you had better take part. Drive down Bangarter Highway through South Jordan then look to the right at the potential of Herriman. Check out the developments that have already started.
