West Jordan, Home Sales Down, House Prices Up
Last months Salt Lake County Home Sales Activity Report furnished by the Wasatch Front MLS, showed some interesting numbers in West Jordan for August.
Number of Home sales were down. Way down. Over twice as many houses were sold in West Jordan last year in Aug. as this year. Average price of Homes sold however increased over 14%. Days on market in 07 increased over 62% from 24 days to 39 days from house listing to sale. (under contract).

Other Observations:
The 51 new home listings between $400 & $500 thousand represents over a 12 months supply. Most of them are new or almost new homes. If you are shopping in that price range in W. Jordan I wouldn't be in a hurry. Wait until next quarter. There will be some deals, on some wonderful homes. Remember to call your Agent FIRST, it will be worth your while.
