MURRAY, TAYLORSVILLE, Homes Sold Report
I've combined the Murray Home Sales report with Houses Sold in Taylorsville for August. The good news is, Home prices increased almost 21% over houses sold a year ago. The bad news is that there were 108 fewer single family homes sold this Aug. than last, and it was taking an average of 9 more days to sell them.
Here's some numbers to ponder: Hope this is Real Estate Information you or your Agent can use.

My Observations:
In spite of the slow down in home sales the market is still pretty good, both from a home buyer and a home seller perspective. If any one is hurting here, it's the Agents, as there are simply not enough houses being sold to go around. Buyers just need to be ready to be tough negotiators, as many sellers are almost in panic mode. Have your Agent research the heck out of the house you like, and then develop a plan to take advantage of any soft spot you might find. Sellers just need to be patient, absorption rate across the board is still running about three and a half months, not terribly high in this market.
As you and your Agent develop your strategy for selling or buying a home in Salt Lake City be sure to use numbers like these to improve your bargaining position. Your Agent should be able to supply them for you. If you don't have an Agent I'd love to apply. Click on Information for sellers to see what I do.
