I Cant Show You The Mortgage Chart !
A colleague, Howard Arnoff from Charleston S.C. shared an informative chart and an interesting article with some of us this morning that I thought you might find interesting. Howard took it from Jerry Bowyer, contributing to National Review Online. I can't put the chart here, ( I know I need to improve my skills) but I can hook you up with the article & the graphics.
Mr Bowyer writes about sub-prime mortgages, you know, the ones everyone in the media keeps telling us is ruining the economy, threatening our way of life, and will surely sink us all sooner rather than later. Well Mr Bowyer has a different take on the problem and I like the sound of his FACTS better than most of the conjecture I have heard lately. Facts like.......
Less than 14 % of the 44 million mortgages in the U.S. are sub-prime loans.
Only about 13 % of that 14 % are late on the payment.
The majority of the late payers are working through the problem with the bank.
I thought you might like to read something different for a change; if so, just click on Howard Arnoff .
My thanks to howard for sharing. Now if he would just show me how to do graphics like the big guys he'd be my hero.
