Everybody Loves a Parade..
The Salt Lake Parade of Homes starts this Friday, July 27th and I hope a bunch of you plan to attend. It's always fun, and folks come away with fantastic decorating ideas. At least they did when I was working them and I don't think much has changed. I often wondered though if the excitement lasted long enough to implement that enthusiasm.
You can see over 30 wonderfully decorated homes, ( I wouldn't dare call these houses ) ranging in price from $250,000 to over $5 million. Imagine, over $50 million worth of spectacular New Homes right here in the south end of the Salt Lake Valley.
The Parade organizers, the Salt Lake Home-builders Association have made it easier and less costly ( cost of gasoline ) by sponsoring 3 cluster sites: a Herriman site, a site in South Jordan, and a cluster in Riverton. Lots of beautiful Homes, not much driving.

Now the reason I'm giving you this "heads up"; In your enthusiasm and the power of the moment, don't leave yourself unprotected. As you tour ,you will be asked to register, there will be drawings and enticements , all designed to allow the builders agent to capture your phone number. Who knows , you might like something well enough to have one built for you. Just remember that whomever you talk to is never going to represent you. They will always be working for the builder and making sure that the boss is taken care of. To not have your own Agent is just not smart business. Plus as you recall, it costs you nothing. It's like free Insurance. Here's what you should do, just in case. Mention to everyone you talk to that if you decide to do anything, you will have your own representation. Now you still have all of the options, use your personal Agent, use me, or In spite of what I said, use the Builders Agent.
