June Home & Condo Sales Numbers. OK!

June Salt Lake City Home & Condo sales statistics are in and things weren't as bad as we thought.  Some areas were better than others, and as usual, the lower the price the fewer days on the market.  I pulled the numbers for West Jordan, South Jordan, Murray, Riverton, Taylorsville, Herriman, and Midvale from the Wasatch Front MLS for you and have made some comments of my own.  Hope you can use this in your Home search.

WEST JORDAN, UTAH

Total Sales................  122
Ave. Price ..........$ 247,996
Lowest................$ 118,000
Highest...............$ 510,000
Days on Market...           33

Over 50% of the Homes & Condominiums sold in West Jordan in June,were between 200 & 300 thousand dollars.  Only 5 houses were over $ 400,000 and days on the market to 54 D.O.M.  Houses & Condos in the 140s sold in an average of 3 days.

SOUTH JORDAN, UTAH

Total Sales....................  54
Ave. Price.............$ 338,083
Lowest..................$ 177,500
Highest.................$ 725,000
Days on Market................61

Almost 50% of the homes sold in South Jordan were between $ 250,00 & $ 350,000 with an ave.  D.O.M. of 50 days.  Only 12 houses sold for more than $ 400,000.

RIVERTON, UTAH

Total Sales.......................34
Ave. Price..............$ 332,447
Lowest...................$ 198,000
Highest..................$ 584,000
Days On Market................36

Over 50% of the houses and Condominiums sold in Riverton were between $ 200,000 & $ 300,000.  A home priced in the upper range took almost 20 more days to sell.

MURRAY, UTAH

Highest...................$ 765,000
Days on Market..................20

Subtract the highest home sale ( 1 @ $ 765,000 ) And the ave. sale drops dramatically, and days on market goes down to 15 days.

TAYLORSVILLE, UTAH

Lowest......................$   77,600
Highest.....................$ 524,900
Days on Market....................24

A more real look at the stats would show an ave. price of just over $ 200,000 & 17 days on the market, as the one home that sold for $524,000 distorts the real picture.

Homes in the $ 200,000 to $ 300,000 price range account for over 55% of the Condominiums or houses sold in Midvale Ut. in June.
