Sunday Morning Brunch In South Jordan
First off , you need to know that I'm a sucker, for Sunday breakfast. Not at home mind you, but one where people wait on me and actually know how to cook. Preferably somewhere I don't feel like I'm paying to educate every chef that boiled an egg in Salt Lake City. In the old days, I thought I would use Sunday breakfast as a tax dodge. I would select an area that I wanted to work in, say South Jordan, or Riverton, drive by a few New Home Subdivisions, take some notes, and then try to declare myself a write-off at tax time. Don't bother to turn me in, every year my accountant would remind me that no such law existed in the tax code and so finally I just gave up. Not the breakfast, the tax dodge. I still use Sunday mornings to drive by Homes for Sale, and Real Estate Projects on my way to a good meal, I just don't cheat, and I look for a better deal than if the government was paying for it.
So heres the better deal I found last weekend. The Market Street Grill in South Jordan, Eggs Benedict Sunday Brunch Special. For $4.99 you get an English Muffin, Canadian Bacon & Poached Eggs topped with made- from- scratch Hollandaise Sauce. Served with Market Street Potatoes or sliced Tomatoes. (every table gets a complimentary pastry.) The Coffee was great, the service , excellent, and if I need to have a complaint, I'd say the orange juice was a little pricey.
The address is 10702 South River Front Parkway, South Jordan Ut. Sunday hours are 9:30 am-3 pm. I'll see you at one of the outside tables if it doesn't get hot. (or cold )
Remember, if you look at houses on your way, you might try the old tax dodge. Who knows ?
